Karol Guitars is proud to offer the ability for students to build the guitar of their dreams and desires, in our fully equipped shop. Over 100 students have built guitars with our supervision over the last 20 years. Hands-on instruction in the design and construction of electric or acoustic guitars is offered. All aspects of building are covered in detail, including side bending, bracing, fretwork, neck shaping and setup work. Courses start every September and January. Each student comes to class one day or evening per week for approx. 3 hours. Expected duration to complete a guitar is about a year.

Pricing for electric builds start at $4000 Cdn, and acoustic builds start at $4900 Cdn.

 

Available options for your custom build include upgraded tonewood, added cutaways, armrest/ribrest, shell inlay.
