Designed to fill the need for fingerstyle guitarists who were looking for an alternative to the standard tuned 6 string acoustic, the Karol Baritone adds a whole new range to the player’s arsenal of tunings and deep bass tones. The standard scale length is 28.44 inches, optionally available in scale lengths ranging from 27.5 to 29 inches. Multiscale fretboards are also available. The Baritone is tuned normally A to A or B to B using string gauges 16 to 70. Due to the need for a larger volume sound box to enhance the lower pitched tunings of this model, the baritone is normally built using the traditional Jumbo, Signature XL, or the Solo platform.
