The single O concert model that I build is based directly on a 1929 Martin 0-18K. Built with either a 12 or 13 fret neck joint, the guitar is extremely comfortable to hold and play due to its smaller body, and shorter reach to the first position. A smaller soundhole enhances the lower frequencies by tuning the air cavity of hte soundbox lower. These small guitars have been cherished for years for their sweet even tone, and immediate attack.
